HO CHI MINH, Vietnam, July 2, 2018 – Saigon Free Walking Tours (SFWT) announces the modification of a new brand identity (i.e. the logo) on social media, website and email from July 2, 2018. The reason of this update is to unify the brand identity in order to put an end to the misunderstanding of the organization’s name and logo.
The new logo comprises both old and up-to-date landmarks of Ho Chi Minh City which are Ben Thanh Market, Notre Dame Basilica of Saigon, and Bitexco Financial Tower situated on the background of the organization’s color. This new logo will appear across SFWT’s page, website, email and uniform to create a common brand identity. Additionally, SFWT uniform still keeps its dominant color which is lapis blue; however, at the back, the line “Saigon on your way” is replaced with the name “Saigon Free Walking Tours” for omitting the confusion over the organization’s initial brand name among the tourists.
SFWT new logo
Beside the innovating logo, a fresh display of SFWT website has been executed with more informative data related to the latest activities of SFWT as well as information about history, culture, landscapes, and lifestyle in Vietnam.
Ms Trần Thị Tường Vi, founder of SFWT, points out “The adjustment is a good start for us to resystematize the organization’s structure, unify our brand identity, and develop our image in the eyes of tourists.” Explaining about the meaning of the latest logo of SFWT, Ms Vi adds “The reason why we choose Bến Thành Market, Saigon Notre Dame Basilica, and Bitexco Financial Tower as the main elements for our logo is not only because they are famous and recognizable venues, but they also indicate to the old and modern aspects of the city”.
